INFORMATION ON CHILDCARE ASSISTANCE
Fees for enrollment in Step By Step programs are based on a child's age and the number of days they are enrolled. Please e-mail or call us for more information on payment plans and the sibling discount. We do encourage families to check the IL Dept of Human Services eligibility calculator to see if they might be eligible for help paying for Child Care. DHS provides a sliding scale based on family income. The link provided will give you an estimate on how much childcare will cost you each month. Both parents must be working or attending school to qualify. If you think you might be eligible, you can download a childcare assistance application by scrolling down on this page and then following the link for your county.
