Some comments from a parent survey taken at the Alton center in March of 2010
* I like how much the kids are learning and how much the teachers and aides care about every child like they were their own * I like how even in the infant room there are planned activities to help the kids grow and learn * My child loves her teachers. I love the artwork she does, songs she sings and the knowledge she gains each day * It's a happy, caring envvironment where children learn important skills. * My child is happy and loves to come. Sometimes he cries when we pick him up because he wants to stay and play!
I just wanted to drop a line and say how happy I am that we found such a great place to take our children. Both of my girls really enjoy their time there and my oldest can’t wait to spend her summer there. My youngest wakes up in the morning ready to “go see her friends” and the teaching staff is GREAT! HappyGrandma - 02/15/08 My 3 grandchildren have attended Step By Step for 6 years now. All three of them along with their parents and myself were quite please with the care they were given from the infant room through school age. The staff care about them and it shows. They learned many different things and as they moved through the public school system they excelled at learning and still do. The staff is always looking for fun and exciting ways for our children to learn while having fun. All the staff are teachers to my grandchildren much more than just babysitters. There were many nights they did not want to leave to go home and they were always ready to go back the next day. I am quite pleased with Step By Step and will continue to recommend it to anyone looking for quality child care in the area.
